Home in sight!!

Hi, I’m taking the opportunity to write an update while I’m feeling a little better!

Unfortunately I have spend almost all of my time since June, in the Freeman Hospitla with constant UTI/Kidney infections caused by my catheter and hopeless immune system!

I now have a long term line (a midline) fitted in my arm so that once I’m able to drink more & regulate my BP without constant IV fluids, I can go home to continue me IV antibiotic treatment from home!

I can’t wait!! I miss being home with my dog Poppy & having lots of quality time and cuddles from my lovely niece Katiya!

Being unwell with these constant infections has made it hard for me to keep active online and update regularly!

However I NOW have I registered Trust Fund, called

“The Melanie’s Mission Charitable Trust 2016”

This is a safe account where ALL fundraising money will be kept, so we are now in the process of transferring all the money raised so far into that one trust account!

I am adding the totals of other people’s fantastic fundraisers for #MelaniesMissionToLive, into the live GoFundMe and the website fundraising Totals as they’re transferred across!

Last summer Northumberland Lightening did a #120Days campaign and kindly raised £2,300 to be split between 5 local charities/causes including #MelaniesMissionToLive!

My good friend Sarah Gearing recently did an AMAZING thing for me…. She abseiled off the O2 in a WHEELCHAIR & raised an INCREDIBLE £1,260 for #MelaniesMissionToLive, see her campaign here: https://www.youcaring.com/melanie-s-mission-melanie-hartshorn-622195

A video detailing Sarah’s FANTASTIC fundraiser will be coming soon…. So keep an eye on the website and faceboo
