A rough weekend

????24% to target for both surgeries -£20,248 raised of £85K goal

Today I had some of my stitches out, and again like over the weekend my adrenal crisis began!

Blood sugar dropping really low when my steroids wear off.. so we’ve had to increase the dose and speak to my endocrinologist again.

She’s booking me in for a curve test ASAP to try and establish the best dose for me, to keep me safe from the life threatening adrenal crisis.

However she’s stressed that we need my pain under control or my steroid requirement is going to be constantly high and I’m at risk of crisis all the time!

This is something we can’t control when I’m dislocating so frequently…. I need surgery now desperately.

I’m still trying to keep up with my online lectures from bed for my PGCE too.

Feeling really sad that I’m so poorly now and missing out on so much (2concerts this weekend, my placement at school…etc) and I’ve just been stuck in bed in pain and really unwell!

Thanks to everyone who’s donated,

I’ve come too far and got so close thanks to everyone’s help… that I can’t just give up now!

Don’t forget you can enter my raffle to win a 3-night weekend or 4-night mid-week break in the gorgeous Well House Hayloft in Belford, Northumberland.

(To be taken between November 2025 & the end of March 2026 subject to availability – & excluding Christmas & New Year).
